In August 2021, Officer Keyon Russaw was arrested on a charge of Domestic Violence Third Degree. He resigned from the Ozark Police Department following the arrest. Prior to his tenure in Ozark, Russaw resigned from the Dothan Police Department in October 2020 after mistakenly entering the wrong apartment during an on-duty incident. The woman involved in the Dothan incident declined to press charges, leading to his resignation to avoid termination.
