Former deputy fired in August 2022 for untruthfulness and inappropriate behavior, including messaging a female colleague with comments like ‘I would never write you a ticket. I’d let you break the law…I’d look the other way’ and ‘I’d stalk your house [laughing emoji] if I knew where you lived anyways [laughing emoji].’ Prior to his tenure in Morgan County, Johnson was terminated from Washington County Sheriff’s Office in 2019 for inappropriately pursuing women he met on the job, including a 19-year-old woman he pulled over and later messaged on Facebook: ‘Lucky you are cute that’s why you got a warning LOL.’
