In June 2023, Lieutenant Charles Albrecht engaged in inappropriate conduct by appearing on a video chat with Deputy David Harding while wearing a wig and women’s lingerie. During the chat, Albrecht proposed a sexual relationship in exchange for a promotion from corrections to road patrol. Harding declined the proposition and subsequently faced allegations of misconduct, leading to his termination. Albrecht was also terminated following these events. Harding has filed a lawsuit against the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, alleging wrongful termination and harassment.
