    Between May 2020 and September 2023, Deputy Lorna Shay Elders misused her access to the DMV database to obtain personal information about an individual, whom she then harassed by showing up uninvited at their residence and running license plate information of guests without legitimate purpose. Elders resigned in February 2023 amid an internal investigation and was subsequently charged with first-degree harassment, misconduct in office, and disclosure of confidential information.
