    In 2014, Michael Howard, a corrections officer, was accused of using a supervisor’s password to access the electronic timekeeping system remotely to clock in at the Middleton Correction Facility. He was placed on paid leave on April 30, 2014, and retired a few days later, ending a 21-year career with the sheriff’s department.
