Create And Track Police Department History
Home › Forums › Alabama › Enterprise Police Department › Michael Lolley
In 1994, Police Chief Michael Lolley conducted a criminal history check on Thomas A. Anderson after Anderson threatened to sue the city over a prior arrest. The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals found that the officers had arguable probable cause for the initial arrest but did not address the propriety of the subsequent actions leading to the wrongful arrest. The case highlighted concerns about the department’s handling of individual rights and due process.
