In 2011, Corporal Michael Mullen was terminated after a series of misconduct incidents. At a police banquet, Mullen, in an intoxicated state, initiated an altercation with his supervisor, Sgt. Scott Sicard, and had to be forcibly removed. Additionally, Mullen engaged in an improper relationship with a female dispatcher, which included sending a sexually explicit photo of himself in uniform while on duty. These actions led to his dismissal from the department. ([pressherald.com](https://www.pressherald.com/2011/12/31/former-saco-police-officer-wants-his-job-back/?utm_source=openai))
