Officer Molly O’Hara was involved in a December 25, 2020, incident where she and Officer Richard Rodriguez allegedly used excessive force against Sheila Lee. Lee claims she was dragged from her vehicle, thrown to the ground, and punched, resulting in the loss of her two front teeth. A federal lawsuit filed on December 22, 2023, accuses O’Hara of violating Lee’s civil rights, false arrest, and malicious prosecution. The lawsuit also alleges that O’Hara ignored Lee’s medical conditions during the arrest. The charges against Lee were dismissed by the District Attorney’s Office. The case is currently in mediation.
