    In 2015, Officer Bailey was selected for the Field Training Officer (FTO) position despite not being qualified at the time, having shot a score of 72 in June 2015. This selection raised questions about the fairness and transparency of the promotion process within the Tuscaloosa Police Department, especially in comparison to other candidates with more experience and fewer disciplinary issues.
