    Officer Neidig arrived at the scene of Jim Rogers’ encounter in October 2021, spoke with Rogers but did not secure medical attention. He was fired in March 2022. Neidig won reinstatement through arbitration, and the city did not appeal. He received $168,628 in back pay in January 2024.
