In 2016, Officer Culbreath provided false information in a sworn deposition, leading to the wrongful arrest and prosecution of an individual for murder. The individual was later exonerated after new evidence emerged. A lawsuit was filed alleging violations of constitutional rights due to the false statements made by Culbreath.
