On December 1, 2012, Officer Dyer responded to a dispute over a food delivery and accused a female LSU law student of theft despite her having paid. He used excessive force, including shoving her against a counter, body slamming her three times, and dragging her to the parking garage. The student filed an Internal Affairs complaint alleging unreasonable force.
