On November 12, 2021, Officer Ninkovic ordered inmate Tony Perales to return his wheelchair to the conference room, stating he was not permitted to have it in his cell. When Perales did not comply, Ninkovic confined him to his room for 23 hours. This incident is part of Perales’ lawsuit alleging deliberate indifference to his medical needs.
