In February 2021, Officer Jenkins arrested Joelle Tanner for domestic violence assault and felony domestic violence in the presence of a child, despite her claims of being the victim and expressing fear for her safety. This arrest led to a lawsuit alleging false arrest and malicious prosecution. The case was dismissed without prejudice in June 2024.
