In 2023, Officer Parks was involved in an incident where he allegedly conducted an unauthorized search of an office without a warrant. The officer entered the premises, searched through drawers, and seized items without the occupant’s consent. This led to a lawsuit alleging violations of constitutional rights. The case was documented in Varney v. The City of Ozark et al, No. 1:2023cv00646.
