The report cited his ‘autocratic demeanor’ as influencing officer interactions. Prine was placed on administrative leave and subsequently fired on April 30, 2024, after nearly three decades in law enforcement. He has since filed a lawsuit against the city officials, alleging defamation and wrongful termination.
