    In 2012, Officer Sebold was involved in an incident where excessive force was alleged. The case, McKinney v. City of Middletown, involved claims of excessive force, including the use of a baton and a police dog, resulting in significant injuries to the plaintiff. The court found that a jury could conclude the force used was excessive and that the law was clearly established regarding such conduct.
