Officer Fleming was assigned as Officer McGuire’s PTO during her Phase B and Phase D training in 2016. McGuire alleged that Fleming called her a ‘pork chop’ and laughed off her complaints about other officers’ inappropriate comments. These allegations were included in McGuire’s lawsuit against the City of Newark, alleging discrimination and harassment during her training.
