In August 2022, Officer White was implicated in a lawsuit alleging excessive force during a traffic stop. The plaintiff asserts that White, along with other officers, forcibly removed him from his vehicle and engaged in physical assault, including slamming him to the ground and punching and kicking him. The plaintiff faced charges of Fleeing/Eluding Arrest and Resisting a Public Officer, which were subsequently dismissed. The lawsuit claims violations of the Fourth Amendment, including unlawful stop, excessive force, unlawful arrest, and malicious prosecution.
