    Former Deputy Otis Leroy Allen, aged 94, was convicted in January 2023 for indecent behavior with a juvenile under 13. He admitted to sexually assaulting a fifth-grade girl and was sentenced to 10 years of hard labor, with all but two years suspended. Allen was also ordered to pay restitution, register as a sex offender for 25 years, and is prohibited from contacting the victim or her family.
