In 2013, Deputy Patrick Green was one of the officers involved in the detention and invasive searches of David Eckert, who was suspected of hiding drugs. The extensive searches, including enemas and a colonoscopy, found no evidence of drugs. The resulting lawsuit was settled for $1.6 million. There is no public information regarding disciplinary actions taken against Deputy Green in relation to this case.
