Former Sergeant Ramon Baez was implicated in creating a hostile work environment within the CCSU Police Department. He was alleged to have engaged in sexual activity with female students and to have made repeated comments on female students’ bodies. Baez was promoted to acting sergeant and then to full sergeant in 2017. The lawsuit also alleges that Baez touched the plaintiff’s breasts and buttocks repeatedly, contributing to a ‘sexualized’ and ‘hostile’ environment within the department.
