Officer Randy Fey, along with Officer David Howells III, filed a whistleblower lawsuit alleging retaliation after reporting widespread misconduct within the Allentown Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence Unit. Fey claimed he was removed from the Vice unit in 2020 and again in 2023 after reporting colleagues for interfering with investigations, having sexual relationships with prostitutes, and stealing money during searches. The lawsuit was initially dismissed in October 2024 but was reopened in November 2024, with a hearing scheduled for December 31, 2024.
