CSPD Sgt. Glenn Eric Thomas was arrested in late 2024 on charges of witness intimidation and violating a protection order after an investigation into allegations he had inappropriate sexual contact with a minor. Woodland Park Police initially closed a sex-abuse case involving Thomas for lack of evidence, but CSPD later found he attempted to contact the 10-year-old victim at her school, leading to charges of witness intimidation against him. Thomas, a 30-year veteran of the force, was placed on paid administrative leave pending the internal investigation.
