Former Chief Administrative Officer Richard Bachoo was involved in the mishandling of a 2016 sexual assault allegation within the CCSU Police Department. After being informed of the allegation, Bachoo and Chief Sneed decided not to pursue an internal investigation, citing a lack of information and cooperation from the complainant, despite not contacting her. This decision violated CCSU and Title IX policies. An independent investigation in 2018 found that the department had a ‘fraternity’ type atmosphere and that required sexual harassment training wasn’t taken seriously. Bachoo was placed on administrative leave following these findings.

Our Mission

We're building a comprehensive database of police interactions to promote accountability and transparency in law enforcement.

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
