In December 2019, Officer Richard Olmsted was accused of deleting body camera footage that showed him failing to detain, screen, or arrest a driver under the influence. The driver was given a ticket and later crashed, leading to an arrest by a different police department. Olmsted denied deleting the footage, but supervisors believed he lied.
