In 2021, Sergeant Robert Rosales was terminated for engaging in a sexual relationship with a subordinate he was training and subsequently lying about it. He also attempted to persuade others to lie about the relationship. In February 2025, the Police Policy Committee voted unanimously to recommend a lifetime revocation of his police certifications due to moral fitness violations, including dishonesty, misuse of authority, and misconduct.
