    Deputy Roger Hill participated in the 2013 incident resulting in the death of Jackie McBeth. McBeth, who was handcuffed and leg-ironed, died due to restraint asphyxia caused by officers applying excessive pressure on his upper torso while he was in a prone position. The court found that the force used was unnecessary and disproportionate, leading to claims of excessive force and failure to properly train deputies in handling mentally ill individuals.
