In May 2022, Bryan Aldridge, a supervisor at the Pulaski County Juvenile Detention Center, reported that Director Ronald Lee Routh had sexually assaulted a male inmate. Aldridge viewed a video depicting Routh touching the juvenile inmate inappropriately. After reporting the incident to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, Aldridge was terminated in February 2023. He subsequently filed a lawsuit against Pulaski County and two of his former superiors, alleging retaliation for whistleblowing and seeking $500,000 in damages and reinstatement.
