In 2011, Officer Yohn was involved in the unlawful seizure of Alfred F. Schultz. The court found that Yohn’s actions violated the Fourth Amendment’s protection against unreasonable seizures. The case proceeded with claims against Yohn for unlawful seizure and failure to prevent excessive force used by City Councillor Griffin during the incident.
