Former Officer Sara Laudano was found drinking alcohol while on duty in October 2020. She and Officer Michael DiMeglio were discovered at a hotel after consuming alcohol in their cruisers and failing to respond to calls. Laudano also drove her cruiser with a baby and another person as passengers after drinking and using a THC vape pen. She pleaded guilty to misdemeanor larceny and reckless endangerment charges, paid a $1,000 fine, resigned from the force, and had her state certification revoked.
