In January 2020, Officer Sean Trapper engaged in a physical altercation with his supervisor, Sergeant Garrett Slawatycki, during an off-duty gathering. Trapper punched Slawatycki, resulting in injuries including a broken tooth and a black eye. Initially terminated in April 2020, Trapper was reinstated without back pay after arbitration, which deemed termination excessive given his prior clean record and commendations.
