In May 2019, Sergeant Foster was involved in an incident where he allegedly used excessive force against Wesley Pryor. Foster reportedly twisted Pryor’s arm, kneed him in the neck multiple times, and kicked him in the ribs. Pryor sustained injuries requiring surgeries and filed a lawsuit alleging excessive force and failure to provide medical care. The case, Pryor v. Coffee County, was filed in April 2020.
