In August 2022, Sergeant Konesky supervised Officer Iovanna’s handling of a case involving Michael Mollow’s homicidal ideations towards Caroline Ashworth. Konesky failed to ensure a thorough investigation and did not address the deficiencies in Iovanna’s report, which omitted crucial details about Mollow’s threats and firearm ownership. An internal investigation concluded that Konesky’s supervision was below the expected standard of performance, resulting in a 3-day suspension without pay.
