    Engaged in an abusive exchange with Officer Johnson, leading to disciplinary action against him. Officer Johnson suspected that the punishment did not meet the offense, but no evidence was provided to show that Warden Merline gave Sergeant Laney a lighter punishment than he would have had Sergeant Laney yelled at a white male officer.
