In 2023, an internal investigation found Sergeant Marc Hanna violated department policies, including workplace harassment and failure to obey directions. Multiple employees reported unwanted physical contact, such as shoulder massages, hugs, and kisses on the head. One incident involved Hanna restraining a female officer against a wall. As a result, Hanna was demoted to Detective, removed from the Special Victims Unit, and barred from promotion for five years.
