In June 2008, Sergeant Parke W. Little was accused of using unauthorized physical force on two individuals. Allegations included applying a pressure-point hold on Tye Maus after he invoked his right to remain silent and lifting Kristi Kuntz by her handcuffed arms, causing her pain. An internal investigation found discrepancies between Little’s account and those of other officers and witnesses. Little was terminated from the Dickinson Police Department on June 30, 2008. He later filed a lawsuit against the city and department officials, which was dismissed in 2014.

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
