In 2013, Sergeant Reed was accused of making crude, sexist, and racist remarks to Mr. Biagas during an arrest. Biagas and a witness testified that Reed refused to listen to Biagas’ version of events and followed him into his house without permission. Reed denied these allegations. The trial court found no evidence of excessive force but acknowledged the unprofessional remarks. No disciplinary action was documented.
