In 2005, Sgt. David Fontenot was investigated for multiple misconduct allegations, including taking a pair of antique aviator goggles during a warehouse search without logging them into evidence, intentionally falsifying a date on a legal document, and sexually harassing female co-workers. He was placed on paid administrative leave on September 16, 2005, and resigned shortly thereafter.
