On July 4, 2024, a complaint was filed against a sergeant of the Mustang Police Department alleging unlawful detention, illegal search, and racial profiling. The complainant stated that the sergeant failed to correct subordinates acting unlawfully, conducted searches without a warrant, and acted as if his title was above the U.S. Constitution and Supreme Court.
