In March 2024, Sgt. Randall Foster used a racial slur during an argument with another officer over an extra duty job. He was suspended for 30 days without pay, forfeited remaining vacation days through June 30, and was prohibited from accepting extra duty assignments during his suspension and for an additional 30 days. Foster also agreed to participate in sensitivity training related to racial bias, bigotry, and discrimination.
