On May 27, 2020, Officer Lister arrested Randolph Clay Cooper for criminal trespass and attempting to elude law enforcement. Cooper alleged that Lister and other officers violated his Fourth Amendment rights by arresting him without probable cause and using excessive force. The court granted summary judgment in favor of the defendants on January 13, 2023, dismissing all claims with prejudice.
