In 2015, under Sheriff Williamson’s leadership, Deputy Collier conducted warrantless searches of ‘The Pig,’ leading to the suppression of evidence and dismissal of charges against the owner, Fuqua. Fuqua then sued Williamson and others, alleging violations of his Fourth Amendment rights and false imprisonment.
