Former Undersheriff Thomas McLallen pleaded guilty in January 2024 to one count of second-degree forgery and one count of first-degree official misconduct for his role in falsifying training records. He was sentenced to 24 months of supervised probation and required to write a letter of apology to the men and women of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. As part of the plea agreement, McLallen relinquished his state peace officer certification and is no longer eligible to serve as a peace officer in Colorado.
