    Sheriff Todd Shelley has been named in multiple federal lawsuits alleging failure to properly train and supervise deputies accused of excessive force. In incidents involving Deputies Chad Estep and James Coffey, lawsuits claim that Shelley was aware of numerous complaints about alleged excessive force and abuse of power by Estep but failed to take appropriate action.
