In 2015, Detective Travis Serafin altered a search warrant during a drug investigation, leading to the dismissal of over 30 cases and the release of a prisoner. He was fired in November 2018 but was reinstated by an arbitrator in 2019, who ruled that Serafin made an honest mistake.
