Former Deputy Tyler Williams was charged with excessive force and obstruction of justice after a July 4, 2023, incident where he threw a handcuffed suspect to the ground, rendering him unconscious. The incident was captured on body-worn camera footage. Williams falsified the incident report by claiming he feared the suspect had a weapon. Prior to his tenure at Hendry County, Williams faced multiple internal affairs investigations at the Fort Myers Police Department, including failing to report child endangerment and reckless driving. He resigned from FMPD in lieu of termination.

Our Mission

We're building a comprehensive database of police interactions to promote accountability and transparency in law enforcement.

  • Browse the Forums: Check if your local law enforcement has been documented

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
