Warden Jeremy Wiley was involved in the death of inmate Montrell Rogers on October 29, 2023. Rogers had informed Wiley that he would be killed if placed in the general population. Despite this warning, Wiley assigned him to J-Dorm, where Rogers was attacked and killed by multiple inmates within ten minutes. Following this incident, Wiley was promoted to warden of the correctional center.
