George Rapp – Franklin County Sheriff’s Office

Former patrol deputy George Rapp was terminated in May 2016 for policy violations and threatening the health and well-being of fellow employees. He had received six reprimands in his first five years, including incidents of speeding to assist a fellow officer and appearing to fall asleep in his patrol car. After challenging his termination through arbitration, Rapp was reinstated in January 2019 but assigned to a corrections officer role. He filed a lawsuit alleging wrongful termination, discrimination, defamation, and civil rights violations. In July 2022, the U.S. District Court dismissed his lawsuit, citing a lack of evidence and legal authority to support his claims.

Our Mission

We're building a comprehensive database of police interactions to promote accountability and transparency in law enforcement.

How You Can Participate

  • View the Blog: Read about documented police interactions
  • Share Your Experience: Submit your own police interaction story
  • Browse the Forums: Check if your local law enforcement has been documented

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Violation of these rules will result in immediate content removal and possible account suspension.

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
