Former Deputy Gerardo Baca, 36, was charged on March 2, 2022, with 19 felonies, including multiple counts of second and third-degree sexual assault, stemming from incidents between 2011 and 2021. The victims, including interns and co-workers, reported assaults occurring at Baca’s residence in Delavan, often when they were incapacitated by alcohol.
